The height limiter for balance crane parts combines a travel switch with a convex-concave brace structure, which is simple in structure and sensitive in action. It effectively inhibits the occurrence of major personal injuries and deaths and ensures safe production at the construction site. After several years of use, the effect is remarkable.

Structure and installation: The limit switch is bolted to a semi-closed protective box made of thin steel plate. Two slideway seats are welded on the bottom of the protective box, and the convex and concave braces can move left and right along the slideway in the slideway seat. A small hole is drilled at one end of the convex-concave brace to fix the thin steel wire rope or nylon rope. The thin steel wire rope and nylon rope are used to set the limit height.

The lifting height limiter can be installed beside the hoist or in the power distribution cabinet. When installing, insert the thin steel wire rope or nylon rope through the small hole on one end of the convex-concave brace and fix it firmly, and fix the other end on the top of the cage. The lead switch of the limit switch is connected to the AC contactor of the power distribution cabinet.

Working principle: When the construction hoist cage moves upward, the small roller on the travel switch is at the concave point of the convex-concave brace-the energized position. When the elevator has a mechanical failure or an operator's misoperation, the hoisting cage rises to the limit height, that is, at the height set by the lifting height limiter. Because the hoisting cage beam pulls the thin steel wire rope and the convex and concave brace, at the same time, the travel switch is on The small roller moves up to the convex part of the convex-concave brace due to external force. The small roller moves from the energized position of the mouth point to the convex point, so that the travel switch is cut off, the upward power supply is cut off, the hoist motor stops running, and the hoisting cage stops running. . The convex-concave pull bar of the manual lift height limiter resets the small roller on the travel switch from the convex point to the energized position of the concave point to start the cage.
