As the protective equipment between the climber and the climbing rope, the safety belt plays an important role in the climbing process.
Shoulder straps and leg straps: woven with high-strength polyester webbing, 44mm wide, resistant to fading after anti-UV treatment.
Leg straps: adjustable, equipped with metal snap ring.
D ring on the back: connect with 30cm long extension strap, which can be glued on the chest.
Seat belt: unique design, can be seated after falling, reducing the compression of limbs.
Step 1: Check the seat belt
Hold the D-ring buckle on the back cushion of the seat belt to ensure that the webbing is not entangled.
Step 2: Start wearing seat belts
Slide the seat belt over your arm to your shoulders. Ensure that all webbing is not tangled and hang freely. The shoulder strap must be kept vertical and not close to the center of the body.
Step 3: Leg webbing
Grab the leg straps and connect them to the buckles on the webbing on both hips. Thread the extra length of the webbing into the adjusting ring
Step 4: Chest webbing
Connect the chest straps together with a buckle. The chest strap must be 15 cm below the shoulder. The extra length of the webbing is threaded into the adjusting ring.
Step 5: Adjust the seat belt
Shoulder: Adjust the webbing of the whole body from the shoulder to make sure that the height of the leg webbing is just below the buttocks, and the back D-ring is between the shoulder blades.
Legs: Then adjust the leg webbing, try to do a single-leg stretch and half squat, adjust and use the same leg webbing length on both sides.
Chest: The chest webbing should be crossed in the middle of the chest and approximately 3 hand-guided distances away from the bottom of the sternum.
A properly worn and adjusted full-body safety belt can effectively decompose the impact force to the whole body, and provide a certain suspension support and fall rescue.
